A photo was sent in of a Magpie nest with a wire coat hanger and the question asked how the coat hanger got there. I'd say, just like sticks, a magpie put it there. I don't know if COG still has that magpie nest that used to be put out at all our exhibitions in the 1980s. The nest was mostly made of scraps of wire and plastic, with plant fibre lining. It was an unusual one though.
