I know that this is a bit out of range for ACTers but, a friend is
coming to Sydney and we plan to bird for 4 days. The itinerary begins at
Barren Grounds on the 29th October and then goes to Katoomba. From there
we got to Capertee Valley. I drop him off on Thursday the 1st at Katoomba.
I'm interested in picking the collective cerebrums of the group on best
spots to bird. I know that Barren Grounds will be pretty self-evident
and have a local contact. Capertee and Katoomba are another matter. Does
anyone have advice on best trails? Car pull-offs? And, while I'm
thinking of it, has anyone ever birded Kanagra Walls?
