Last year at Callum Brae there were
several Striated Pardalote nests in the creek bank.

I would have thought that unusual. It is typical for Spotted
Pardalotes but Striated Pardalote usually use tree hollows. However Beruldsen's
book says about Striated Pardalote "Also nests in holes in creek banks and
the like when suitable above-ground hollows are not available."
