Perhaps we could start out by deciding how many of them there are.
If eye colouring doesn't vary from day to day and if
Pizzey & Knight are correct in specifying different-coloured eyes for the
sexes then i am fairly confident I
have seen two different birds in tthe duffy/rivett/chapman region in the last
month.

This I reckon is a male (dark brown-eyed)
I haven't a photo of, but have observed a "red-eyed bird,
perhaps someone else has a photo.
