Some time back I enquired of various gurus about 'official' ways of naming or coding hybrid birds.  The answers I received wished me luck and indicated there are quite enough problems getting official names and codes for full species!

Following the common notation for plants, it could be something like
Platycercus elegans x eximius, but I haven't seen this used for birds
or animals.  (The Wikipedia article on hybrids just uses common names
e.g. Crimson Rosella x Eastern Rosella.)
