Another stroll this afternoon to the big dam at Mulligans produced no interesting waterbirds. Other avian highlights though were a PALLID CUCKOO, WESTERN GERYGONES and a HORSFIELD'S BRONZE-CUCKOO plus plenty of vocal NOISY FRIARBIRDS. It was great to see my first active Echidna for the season as well as a basking Shingleback Skink which still seemed a bit sleepy.
