Hi Rod,
To be fair, note that the ACT Birds Atlas was
published in 1992, based on surveys done in 1986 to 1989. So 1983 was sort of
recent, back then. Hate to repeat myself but there are many more differences
between Whistling Kites & Little Eagles than their calls. Although if you
don't get a decent look...... Their nests are similar.
