Subject: | Suburban Pallid Cuckoo calling at night |

There was a Pallid Cuckoo calling in Macquarie last night and this morning. I first noticed it when I was going to bed around 11.30pm. It was also calling at 4am when I awoke. Don?t know whether it had been going all night! It continued, on and off, until about 8am. I don?t recall ever hearing Pallid Cuckoos calling at night before but that may be because they don?t often come into the suburbs?
