Hi all.

If you are in the Nowra region birding and happen to be camping, I'd like to recommend the folks at the Shoalhaven Ski Park. I stayed there last weekend and really thought that it was a wonderful spot. Jason Druce and his family have taken over the business in the past year and give a good deal to tent campers. For a very reasonable $8 a night, you can camp on the riverbank, just across from great rock climbing routes. But, you are also adjacent to The Grotto and within a 5-minute drive of Bomaderry Creek, both wonderful birding spots. Hot showers, security and nice birds. What could be better?

If you're interested, their phone is 02 4423 2488 and the email is

p.s. Nope! They ain't no relations neither.
