About an hour ago while I was running on the equestrial trail along the western slope of Mt Stranger at Bonython, there was a male Flame Robin on the fence wire and also 2 Pipits, one perched on top of a fence post and the other about 100 metres further along flushing from the long grass beside the trail.

I've seen Pipits in that area before but it is the first Robin of any variety that I have come across there in the 4 months or so that it has formed part of one of my regular running routes.
