Judy, almost certainly the bird that I first saw
flying over Chapman from Woden to the Cotter (and back) about 6 weeks ago, and
has since been seen by a number of other observers. However, it is only in
the last week that it has been seen in Curtin/Deakin. Interestingly
it's the first weekend in about 6 that I haven't seen it here.
I'll forward you separately some correspondence,
it's probably originally an escaped bird, but there has been one in the area for
about 4 years, apart from an absence of 20 months (assuming it's the same
bird).
