On leaving my front door this morning to go and search for Little Wattlebird in the ANBG I heard Swift Parrots calling. The time was 07:55. Four birds flew past me toward the city heading southeast. I had good views of one in the binoculars. This event has been duly recorded in our GBS. The birds appeared to have come from down from Black Mountain School but flew out over Turner gaining altitude, ultimately disappearing from binocular view. I will check out the ironbarks at BM school though.
