Just back from a very rainy family weekend in Nowra. The Sthn
Tablelands, from Marulan to Fitz Falls, is awash with water pouring over
the landscape; it was still raining there this morning. Rose's Lagoon is
full, though the reed beds will take time to recover. No time to stop
this morning, but the swans have found it. The east side of Lake George
is lakey again; the west side isn't, but is definitely a wetland. It's
obvious how the country gets drier as we approach Canberra - but we're
getting there!
