The Canberra avian pogrom on rats continued yesterday when I saw an Aus Raven with a large and very, very dead looking rat in its beak. It was on the ground in our driveway when I first saw it, then flew a short distance into a nearby tree where it juggled the rat for a while, then flapped off rather laboriously, still holding the ex-rat.

cheers

Steve
