After a long search today (slightly distracted by the Rally of Canberra
at Bluetts on the south side of the river), four White-fronted Chats
(two male, two female?) were seen this afternoon at 2:30pm by myself,
Sue and Julian. I heard one chat when I arrived about 11:45am, but
was unable to locate it. Patience and a little luck are required!

Also present were the previously reported robins and finches:
Red-capped, Flame and Scarlet Robins (Flames were very numerous),
Diamond Firetail, European Goldfinch, Red-browed and Double-barred
Finches, and House Sparrow.
The Red-capped Robin was in the lone she-oak adjacent to the vehicular
track that runs along the fence line (35.28638S, 149.02930E), but
moved down towards the river and was heard again towards the top of
the hill with the eucalypts when the chats were located.
