That's interesting. I never read your story in CBN 11(4) as I
didn't commence subscribing to CBN until circa '92. I wonder if this
apparent fear of reptilian-like objects is connected to the fact that some birds
include shed snakeskin in the outer walls of their nest. Perhaps it's an attempt
to dissuade others from approaching too closely?
