This is getting a bit weird for me. By the way in case anyone was thinking the first paragraph of my previous email was meant seriously, it wasn't, it was in fact an attempt at humour. Evidently not a very good one as several people seem to have misinterpreted it. Now to birds. Heard a parrot-type call yesterday morning that I couldn't identify. Heard it again this morning and managed to get brief flight views of a parrot I assume was an escaped Ring-necked Parakeet (or Indian Ringneck), very long-tailed and all green, similar to a Superb Parrot in shape and size. The call was very different to a Superbs. cheers Steve |
