A nervous Peaceful Dove at the Duntroon Dairy today. The dairy is on the
lower slope of Mt Pleasant.
I couldnt approach closer than 20 metres. It seemed timid and flighty, at
one stage flying up to perch in a small tree.
It also looked up occasionally as if looking for predators and pecked
around the stony ground for grass seeds.
My guess it is probably wild, but happy for other peoples opinions.
Also a Royal Spoonbill and at least 17 Cattle Egrets in the paddocks at
Jerrabomberra Wetlands.
Cheers
