Well I hadn't seen any for a couple of weeks before today. We saw a single bird as well as the big flock, all seemed to be heading north. The birds we are seeing could be coming from further south, Victoria etc, rather than the ranges, either way they seem to have left the ACT a lot earlier than last year, we were regularly recording them on our GBS chart until late April/early May in 2006. cheers Steve |
