Happy Easter to all.
The Conservation Council which recently moved to
new premises, needs assistance with re-cycling old equipment and
furniture not required, as well as waste
paper/cardboard re-cycling. Most is left in our
old buildings in Kingsley Street Civic. There is good
vehicle access for pick-up etc. We are also seeking donations of some
items for the new office.
Paper/Cardboard Re-cycling
- someone with a trailer or ute is needed to pick
up and take a large amount to re-cycling depot
Equipment on Offer: you remove and
take away basis; a donation to the Council would be
appreciated
. electric hot water service
. wall mounted reverse cycle
air-conditioner/heat pump (working order)
. small kitchen bench (built in, with sink,
cupboards, drawers, around 2 metres long).
Note: the above may require appropriate
tradesperson for removal.
. several workstation desks (large and small) and
chairs (chairs may need re-gassing)
. a desk rollaway (drawer on rollers)
. medium size table with laminated top
. bookcases
. old computers.
Items needed for New
Office:
. small kitchen table
. indoor plants which will survive low light
conditions
. a vacuum cleaner.
