Today's work involved walking down Stockyard Spur from the Mt Franklin Rd to Corin Dam. Not as many birds as you might think; many have headed downhill, and I must admit that with the last 2k involving a 600m drop, I was as interested in my feet as the treetops. However, of some interest at top and bottom were a S Q-thrush on a rock pile at 1700m asl, the highest I've ever seen one, and an adult sea eagle over Corin Dam. (If there are any fish there, they are, of necessity, near the surface!)

happy birding

Ian
