The weather in Carwoola this morning was brilliant: cool, cloudless skies and calm.  I took myself for a run from home to Woolcara Lane and back.  On the way down there were small flocks of yellow-faced honeyeaters flying East across the Captains Falt Road towards the Molonglo River.  My guess is during the outbound leg ( 9.5km) I saw about 200 birds.  By the time I turned a small breeze had arisen and the movement seemed to have ded away.
