A brief but spectacular view of a White-throated Nightjar, at 0800 this morning, seen roughly midway between the small footbridge over Jerrabomberra Creek and the Fulica hide.  Initially seen roosting on a pale rock (so very conspicuous) but then it became alerted to my presence and took off and glided away.
