Greetings: The
Conservation Council (CCSERAC) needs volunteers to help pack boxes for their
accommodation move - not heavy work (removalists do this), just packing up
records and materials in boxes. Assistance is particularly needed from
10am Tuesday next week. See details below. Ive not
included the instructions mentioned in the email below - they will
be provided on the day.
COG is a member
group of the Conservation Council. The new Council accommodation will
give COG access to a very comfortable Board-style room
for COG Committee meetings. We would be very grateful if some
COG members could assist with this. If you can spare a few
hours, please call the office 6247 7808 in business hours (not reply to me
thanks).

CCSERAC is moving
to its new premises on Monday 26th March. (Yippee) We are putting out a call for
some volunteers to help with packing next week.
Next Tuesday
(20th) will be the first workparty starting at 10 am. We are hoping to have
enough volunteers on Tuesday to pack most of the store room
Giff Jones has
kindly worked out a system to achieve an efficient pack and relocation - see
attached doc for summary. Giff and I will be available on Tuesday morning
from 10 am to take people thru that system.
If we don't get
the store packed on Tuesday we will need someone to volunteer to be overseer
for work parties later in the week, as Giff will be
unavailable after Tuesday.
We are also
calling for 1 or 2 volunteers to assist the staff with packing up the office on
Thursday 22 and/or Friday 23. Please give me a call if you can help on those
days.
Please note -
there will not be any need to shift large or heavy items - the removalists
will do all that on Monday 26th. We just need to pack books, files,
folders and other items into boxes and label the boxes.
