Spent an hour at Callum Brae yesterday on the way home - evidence of heavy runoff from recent storms over much of it. Dams are full. Among the usual suspects, I saw a diamond firetail (first time I've seen one there), many groups of yellow-rumped thornbills, and a group of still very fluffy young dusky woodswallows.
