Hello everybody,
Today I am writing with a request for Magpie lark sightings near Kioloa.
In early April some students of the ANU course 'Field studies in Behavioural
Ecology' and I will be conducting a study on Magpie larks near Kioloa as
part of the field-component of the course. For that study we would need to
know c. 10 sites for Magpie-larks along the coast between Batemam's and
Ulladalla. As I feel Magpie larks are a little less common at the coast than
in Canberra I think it might be a good idea to find out if any ot the COG
members know of reliable and easily accesible sites for this species. I
would be really grateful if you could let me know of sites you remember or
notice on a trip to the south coast. After all nothing is more embarassing
for a bird guide / tutor then to run out of target species...
Cheers
Golo
