A cautionary tale Philip. The blue-tongue lizard that lived under our
back deck went missing recently. Two mornings later a brown snake (about
1m long) was looking at me from the same place. After some serious
meditation it slid into the lizard's hole. Could still be there. Muriel At 04:38 PM 27/12/2006, you wrote: Sure, it ain't a bird but I think I can make this stretch. I consider myself a little privileged to have a Blue-tongued Lizard living under my back tap (in Kambah) right beside the door (as it is a battle-axe block I only use the back door not the front. Actually I'm pretty sure this Lizard is a third individual, that has inhabited the same spot, within the last about 12 years (it is smaller than the others). I am curious as to how they find the place. I wonder how many others have these living near their house. |
