Our local bats are all insectivores as far as I know, with the obvious
exception of fruit bats. The Greater Broad-nosed Bat of the east coast has
been reported eating other bats, but in Australia the habit is best known in
the fabulous and declining Ghost Bat of northern caves and mineshafts.
