The characteristic cackle attracted my wife and me
a low seed-bearing bush in my street. We found four juvenile Gang-gangs,
all males. Another was calling some distance away and we did not ascertain
whether it was adult or young.
I hope the happy parents had not been expecting a
girl.
Also, flowering Yellowbox and Ironbarks have
brought Red Wattlebirds in their dozens. Until the last week or so,
we have been seeing only two locals around.
Well, if you haven't got time to get to Mullies,
you have to find your excitement where you can get it!
