Dear subscribers, the COG office has just received this message, which has arrived too late for it to be included in the December Gang-gang or announced at a COG meeting.

While it also seems too late to make it an organised COG activity, if anyone is planning to help please let me know and I will pass your details on.

Alternatively if you make any ad hoc Ibis sightings I'm sure the organisers would be happy to accept them

Hi All,

Its that time of year again!
The Annual Australian White Ibis count will be held on Sunday the 17th
of December this year.
Attached is the pdf invite to pass around, explaining the count and the
methods in which the data will be submited.
Please RSVP by the 11th December whether your group will be
participating and which region/s you will be counting.

Also, please dont forget to keep an eye out for banded birds; reported
in order of left leg upper colour, left leg lower colour, right leg
upper colour, right leg lower colour.
