As Norgrove Park on the Kingston foreshore is only 15 mins walk from where
I work, I've been monitoring this area quite regularly, doing 30 minute
lunchtime surveys. I've recorded Greenfinches (1-2) on several occasions.
Other interesting and, perhaps, surprising, species for this little
surburban wetland park include Baillon's crake, Latham's snipe, Little
Grassbird, Black-fronted Dotterel and White-faced Heron. Also, confirmed
breeding for Reed Warbler, Black Duck, Purple Swamphen, Dusky Moorhen,
Welcome Swallow.
Regards
Frank
