As of now, I have received 91 datasheets, covering 41 grid cells. 139 species of bird have been recorded so far, with 35 species breeding. A great start! Thanks to the 2 Sues, Muriel, Joe, Roger, David, Ian, Paul and Stuart who got their datasheets to my letterbox so promptly and I’m sorry I missed some of you – was out at Harden today picking up the prize plants and enjoying the sight of many Superb Parrots, including one dad feeding a young bird at Binalong. Keep those datasheets flowing in folks! It’s wonderful to see how many of you got behind the blitz idea and went out and surveyed extra grid cells – every new packet of datasheets throws up a surprise or two, and I’m delighted with the notes and comments about your birding adventures. Make sure you keep the last weekend in October 2007 free for next year’s effort! b
