Hi everyone

Saw a couple of Superb Parrots feeding on the ground at Hawker Playing fields on Sunday afternoon.

Highlight of a short cycle tour of the Pinnacle Nature reserve was about 30 rabbits on the southwest fringe.  All hopping and white-tail bobbing and looking very healthy.

Highlight of my blitz visit to Ginini Flats was not an Olive Whistler.  The patch of shrubs around the south end of the flats where we used to look for them has not recovered after the bush fire so I assume no shrubbery no whistlers.  The highlight of the day was the accurate ACT weather forecast which predicted cold and a light dusting of snow.  There wasn’t much, but it did snow.

Cheers

Paul Fennell
