Subject: | Great Egret: ANU campus |

This evening saw an egret alight at the edge of Sullivan's Creek
between the stepping stones and the road bridge nearest the lake on
the ANU campus. At first without optical aids I thought it may have
been an intermediate but after fetching my telescope determined that
it was a Great Egret. I do not recall too many egrets on the ANU
campus. Does anyone else?
