I concur with Muriel - the Macquarie Boobooks which were very vocal visitors to my street from the time I arrived in 1983 disappeared when the clearing for the GDE began. I have not heard one since. Sue -----Original Message----- From: Peter Milburn Sent: Friday, 27 October 2006 10:15 AM To: Subject: Boobooks missing from northwest? It seems that the missing Boobook phenomenon is a feature of the northwestern part of the ACT. I am happy to learn that they are seemingly normal elsewhere. -- Dr P.J.
