Julian asked me if we didn’t do anything useful at Oolambeyan, like count birds or take pictures or something.  Here are 3 snaps from the vicinity of the homestead.  A Barn Owl (there were at least 4 about) peers out from its daytime roost in a Peppercorn Tree, a White-backed Swallow flies from its nest-hole in the wall of an old silage pit, a Spotted Harrier carries garnish to its nest in the crown of a callitris …
