Buff-Banded Rail

This morning about 9.45 at the O'Connor wetland I heard, and then briefly
glimpsed, a Buff-Banded Rail. It was calling very loudly from within the
cover of the reeds, and disappeared from view when a local started to feed
the ducks with bread.
