During the hot and extremely windy afternoon on Saturday, a flock of about 40 White-browed Woodswallows flew over Cook, heading into the wind in a north-westerly direction.
Interestingly a group of about 20 also flew overhead in the same direction just after sunrise on Sunday morning, after the weather had changed to cool and calm.
