On a walk with the Aust Native Plant Society today, I recorded 3 White-fronted Chats at the Common (a male and female and one other bird possibly an immature or second female), in an open grassland area with bare soil patches, a dam, carex grass cover in a drain line, and dead thistles/vegetation for perching.

There was also a Restless Flycatcher near this spot and a male Superb Parrot flew over.

The Common can be accessed off Lute Street on the eastern side of Gundaroo Village; the birds were near the boundary of houses and the Common.  Nick Nicholls who lives nearby, also knows where the birds are.
cheers
Jenny
