Hi Rachel,
Not unusual for suburban Downer at all, but adds an
extra bit of pleasure to life nonetheless. The timing is right too (for the
first notified observation for the year). Typically first ones appear in late
September, although their abundance peaks in October, from Canberra GBS
data.
