A cycle Ride round the lake today Midday,20th September found a Sacred Kingfisher in the John Knight Memorial Garden,and round the other Side next to Coulter Drive there is a Sandy Beach,Swimming Area....well the Prominentary just North has a number of Casuarinas on it...In these at the very Tip in the Trees are Two Nankeen Night Herons and one immature nice to see for those new to Birding as it looks very like a Bittern,A bird which most of us us Know exists only with the Push Me Pull You...Terry Gourlay.
