A walk to the large dam at Mulligans Flat this fine morning produced the following spring migrants:

  • Latham's Snipe (2)
  • Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike (2)
  • White-throated Gerygone (1)
  • Pallid Cuckoo (1)
  • Fan-tailed Cuckoo (2)
  • Rufous Songlark (1)
  • Olive-backed Oriole (1)
The Oriole was among starlings and cuckoo-shrikes perched on a fence in open grassland, not a habitat I have seen them in before.

Cheers
Marnix
