A pair of Wood Ducks with 8 chicks was
settled on the grass outside my building at the ANU about two weeks ago.
Their position was almost underneath one of those cute "Watch the ducks" road
signs.
Also, this morning, in Deakin, Spring was heralded
with my first Friarbird and a singing Blackbird - but I still have lots of
mature male King Parrots.
