Saturday was a day for Flame Robins. I had 3 male Flame Robins out at West Macgregor on Saturday morning, then later that day I lost count of the number of Flame and Scarlet Robins dispersed across Pierces Creek and Oakey Creek. On the drive home I passed another male Flame Robin on a fence along Coppins Crossing Rd. They are probably in the midst of their return migration.

There has also been a lone Great Egret present all winter at Yerrabi Pond.
