Just as I was reading Matthew's message on the
deceased (how??) Crimson Rosella, a couple of CRs in the hakea outside my first
floor office window were making their musical, companionable call. This
call is one of my favourite things about the coming of spring in
Canberra. But am I imagining it that it is a call more for spring than
other times of the year? I have CRs constantly around all year, and I certainly
feel it's a spring call, but maybe I do not 'hear' it in the autumn &
winter.
cheers
Barbara
