Ladies & gentlemen
Many correct responses received, in fact only one incorrect - from the
Quizmaster himself who I strongly suspect deliberately flunked the test to
make
the less
gifted among us feel better about ourselves. It is indeed a Satin
Bowerbird. Photo of what appears to me to be an immature male at the bower
in
Kalgoorlie Cres Fisher is attached. The bower is in a fairly exposed
position compared to other habitats where I have seen them. Apparently
another mature adult male also in the vicinity has been "seen off" by the
young bloke, but not before pinching several of the blue adornments
surrounding the bower.
