There are the usual 2-6 birds around our end of OConnor.
As at ANBG they are most obvious in the late afternoon.
I think most "garden" food is finished, they seem to be feeding high in Eucalypts around our way, so they are more dispersed rather than fewer in numbers.
 
On another note we have a "pear" in our yard which bears a large crop of tiny fruit each year. They are much loved by Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots. This year there was a large proportion of the crop still on the tree after the leaves had fallen. Perhaps there is more parrot food around this year.
