Aranda Bushland
Late yesterday arvo I walked down the East side of Aranda bushland, in the nice
wet gully, to see the impact of the earthworks on birds. Erosion into the edge
of the bushland has occurred. Although a bit noisier, the noise is still quite
buffered. In fact it is noisier up the top of the ridge or half way up, where
the noise seems to be tunnelled upwards. Some interesting birds included 2 grey
currawongs, 1 yellow robin, pr scarlet robins, 1 speckled warbler, 1 white
eared honeyeater, and large MFF of striated t, pardalotes, etc. Lots of birds
if you kept still.
