A reminder to everyone that COG is running
a"coast camp weekend" over the June long weekend
(9th-11th of June).
The program will be weather dependent but we
plan the following;
Sat 9th 8am meeting at the
Broulee Caravan Park.
Trip to Pedro Pt south of Moruya
Heads. Pedro Pt offers a mix of beach and bush birding in the Eurobodalla NP. We
will also bird around the south head on the way through.
Sun 10th 8am meeting at the
Broulee Caravan Park.
Barbara Allen will lead the fittest members up
Mt Dromedary. Target birds include Pilotbird, Olive Whistler, and Bassian Thrush.
Tom Green will take those wanting a gentler walk up
the Bevian Lane and out to Burrewarra Pt. We
will look for bush birds up the lane and albatross from the
headland.
Mon. 11th 9am meeting at the
Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens to check out the new birdhide
followed by some birding around Batemans Bay.
There will be something for everyone.
