Rhonda and I retired from the workforce last week and our first mission as retirees was to pick up our camper trailer from Melbourne.  We made it a leisurely drive home via East Gippsland, Cann River and the Monaro.  While we were at Cann River checking some of the birdlife a rather large pigeon landed in a tree above us.  I was able to snap a couple of pics before it flew off.  I would be interested in any views on what it is.  My own best guess is an immature White-headed Pigeon but that is, as suggested, a guess.

Regards
